try a test line and see if its happening on there.
sounds like its an issue with your provider.

first thing i would be doing is rechecking my old cabling and splitter as signal strength maybe improved to fix issue.

Ok thanks for the reply, appreciate it.
Will do the steps mentioned above.
I' m also having issues with recordings. Once I start play back and when I start fast forwarding it' causing box to crash. Im using zgemma h2h on the groc build

will be a provider issue with a certain channel if its just the odd channel causing problems, I notice people always asking about splitter and cabling but to me if those are off then you should be getting pixelation, screen going green, funny audio or it working but you get blips everynow and then with a combination of pixelation and audio issues, myself I used to get these issues on some hd channels, namely some of the hd movie channels so I increased the signal going to the box and all the problems associated with poor cabling etc went away, so check with your provider whats what on that channel though in my experience I've never seen a provider ever admit to anything is wrong with their service and "its a problem with your setup, I've not received any reports of this" blah blah blah, take a test with someone else if you get no joy with it, the go to channels on my setup that freeze are ginx and mtv live and a few plus 1 channels on mine but the rest are ok so not too bad, I provider I used in the past had the odd freezes on sky hd movie channels so shop around on providers to test their lines.

Thanks for the reply dappa2. I asked provider and as usual everything is fine at his end. Today I've noticed a few HD channels on movies and sports not working

what build are you using? - this sounds suspiciously similar to the AD problems from months ago, sports and movies are usually fairly solid on most servers while the least watched channels, +1's etc will struggle a bit

Also I've asked the provider if he has any issues and typically he said it' my end and nothing to do with him. What type of question/s can I ask him to find out if there is issues on his ends?

looking through your posts from earlier this year, I'd say it's your setup that's at fault.
Firstly, your splitter sounds like it's a duffer, can you take a pic of it and upload it here.
Secondly, I asked for your signal logs from the broadband router in another thread a few weeks ago and You've not supplied them, read back, supply the information that has been requested from you and we may be able to help you get a decent picture, no one is going to provide you with ammo to throw at your provider unless other factors have been ruled out

Yea I'll take a pic of splitter.
How can I find signal logs? If possible please let me know and I can let u know.
Thanks for your help

on the side or bottom of the router there should be a 'settings password'
type 192.168.0.1 into a browser and click enter, use that password to log into the router

advanced settings
tools>network status> click on downstream tab

paste the data here for snr and dbmv

there's nothing wrong with the power levels, they are all within range so it must be the splitter, or quite possibly (probably) the softcam.
what name is on the splitter and have you tried a different softcam?

Edit: if you are in Leicester, the hd channels are affected on that netid, this is Virgin's doing and nothing to do with any providers

Tbh I'm not that pro on these boxes. I' usin softcam 2.3.0 if that makes sense?
Not sure how I can change softcam?
I'm in London and I've attached the splitter

yas85 . depends on the line you have, I would suggest contacting the person who provided the line they can advise the best option for your setup.
There is a number ccam mgcamd or oscam depending what is installed . There is plenty of guides on how to set up these on this site.
