skybox f3 firmware problem

Hi, Still struggling. I have tried to load new firmware, but keep having the same problem. I save the firmware to usb (i have tried this with the winrar file, and also opened the file before loading to usb). I then connect to box go to tools, upgrade by usb , but although the box is showing the usb connected, there is 'no file' showing in the upgrade file section. Any ideas please, it is driving me round the bend.
 
u could see if u can format your usb stick in the box first then put it back in your com and un war your files to it.
 
I've sorted out firmware issue, but now all my channels have disappeared. When I do a scan it says no channls found. any ideas anyone?
 
the channels are on the scobby snacks m8 if you send me your email i will send you the dark star m8 you can try that

works on mine but took it out has it plays havoc with the hd channels wait till they bring a newer one out stick 3601hd in it has you tube app works fine on mine
