Guys looking for some good feed back regarding this box over the dreambox as per below.

Rated against the Dreambox both the 500 and 800hd

Rated against the Blade 7000

If you had your choice of the above which would you be most likely to purchase and why

I cant compare to dreambox's but i have owned an f3 for 3 months now, if you can accept the fact that the epg is only now and next i cant find any other faults, picture quality is superb, quick channel change etc, was really easy to set up and upgrade etc, from what i see you cant get a SD dreambox for the same money so in my view i would rather have the HD f3 and put up with the epg than have a SD box with better epg
 
The f3 is a good cheap box and ok if u just want to watch tv,if u want better and learn something a dm800 would be the one plenty off image out there but it is down to how far u want to go and aslo how much u want to pay out.
 
Budget boxes about £60, F3 and openbox, both HD, both PVR.
EPG is only now and next on all budget boxes so you have to record by setting it like
the old video days.

Blade, DM800, Same as above £150 ish, 7 day EPG, recording function
easier to use.

Dreamboxes are linux boxes and a bit more fiddly to set up I believe.
The 500 box is only sd, HD is ace!!

£300 ish gets you a twin tuner box so you can record one program
and watch another likes of VU+ DUO

Think you get what you pay for with sat boxes so just depends on your
budget

I plumped for a blade, easy to use and set up, very pleased with it.

C/S and subs, with all, generally a better service than the cable side.

Are you coming to the dark side ? lol
