You don't put the telnet command in FileZilla you use your PC, what box you got?

On my VU Duo I used the following path
menu/setup/Vix/install local extension

Following first post I put picon in:

\\ZGEMMAH2H\Root\usr\share\enigma2\SkyQ\SkyQ\picon

but picon preview are not showed on screen..whats wrong ?
I dont want use other folderlike usb or hhd

Looks like u have one "skyQ" folder too many , copy picon to usr/share/enigma2/SkyQ/
 
Hi guy, just installed slyQ skin and everything is out of wack! Fonts and pics to large etc. Is there a list of setting I can follow to correct it so it looks right ?

Download the attached rar file

Extract the ipk in the downloaded rar file and ftp the extracted ipk file to /tmp of your reciever

Installation:

Telnet command

opkg update && opkg install -force-overwrite /tmp/*.ipk

OpenATV

Menu... setup... software management... install local extension
memory/tmp
Press ok on the package
press green to install
Reboot Your Box.

OpenVIX

Menu > setup > VIX > Iplkg install
memory/tmp
Press ok on the package
press green to install
Reboot Your Box

Once it has installed you need to set it as your skin.

(OpenATV)

Menu... setup... Usage & GUI... skin setup.
Restart GUI

(OpenVIX)

Menu...setup...System...user interface...skin setup.
Restart GUI

SkyQ Preview Channel Picons:

Download and Extract the attached SkyQ Preview.rar file (click on the dropbox link)

The Skin is Based on Open Pli but it should work well with most other images. I can confirm it also works well with Open ATV.

Feel free to try it on other images (please back up your image first before installation). Do post here if it works well with other images.

The Skin also comes with 2 .sh scripts for the Top Picks.

SkyQ Scrape.sh scrapes images from the net and SkyQ Picks.sh picks up the images to display.

In your Cron Manager or Cron Time (Open ATV Menu - Timers - Cron Timers) You need to set SkyQ Scrape.sh once a day and SkyQ Picks.sh every 1hr or whatever you wish to have the images updated.

Sorry as I didn't have time to search the 126 pages, the info bar at the bottom, is there a way to just scroll through the channels (up and down) in that view rather than a 2 row epg in blue coming up. sorry for my shocking wording, I am new to this
 
great skin for sky q on openvix however my epg does not auto update i manually have to scan to update epg any help please?

Im using openatv image and I go to - menu , setup , usage & gui , hotkey setup , then press "up" on remote then choose infobar then choose show service list , press green button to save , that should do the job.

Just installed this skin (first time mucking around with an already set up box). Picture appears to be far better than with the SLYK skin, but then I haven't tried any other channels other than BBC1 HD at the minute. If the rest are as good will be happy. Props to Chabs for the work, and BTW, the step by step guide is cracking (been a few years from i played with Linux filesystem, starting to come back to me :P
