Softcam Issues

Hi, can anybody help. I have added new cline onto Zgemma using FileZilla, all good until I go to soft cam panel to restart it and I am getting the error "cam 1 must be different than Cam 2" HELP!

one is the active cam, this is the cam you should be restarting, have it set to Cccam2.3.0
the other cam should be set to no cam. move left/right to change the values

when you go to softcam panel and the active cam is at the top, lit up
what softcam is showing? - mgcamd1.38?
or 'no cam' or 'oscam'?
if you move left with the arrows on the remote, this will change

In softcam panel it is showing
Select Cam 1....................CCcam 2.3.0 then underneath
No Cam active in blue
No ECM info

yes well if you have a C line and you've installed it, get CCcam2.3.0 showing in cam 1 (leave cam 2 as 'no cam')
then press the green button and it will restart the softcam and your channels will clear

I have done all that but it just won't start the cam it's driving me mad

Still saying no Cam 1 active underneath

Right start at the begining
where did you paste the C line given to you by your supplier? - it needs to be pasted into CCcam.cfg
this file needs to be in the folder usr/keys
verify you have done these steps before going any further with this

in that case you have either:
A disconnected cable, if VM make sure it's in the correct socket.
No internet connection to the box
you may have a cable c line for a sat box or a Sat c line for a Vm box

what box are you using?
what build is on the box?

Ok, are you sure your supplier has offered you a sat line and not a VM/cable C line as this won't work on that box (don't post any line details here)
Did you save the line as CCcam.cfg format and not a .txt format as this won't work?
In the folder usr/keys, there's only one instance of CCcam.cfg? - if there's two and your line is in the one named CCcam.cfg (1) this won't work

was your line in this format:
C: server 11111 username password

Cam should start regardless of anything, if it does not start with warnings it would generally be config location errors/startup script error or cam version error

this is where you've gone wrong

the file called CCcam.2.cfg is no good and the softcam won't open it

it HAS to be CCcam.cfg
