(solved) Channels showing in secondary but not in 'all channels'

Hey guys,

I have recently installed Wooshbuild Infinity onto my Zgemma h2.s and so far its all went fine with one small exception.

I have set the system to create the 'All channels' bouquet which is to simplfy the interface for the kids and for streaming it to kodi in another room. Anyway, the issue I have noticed is that some channels are showing in the secondary channels bouquet but not the all channels one. An example of this is the Dave channel.

I am using ABM set for Sky, West Scotland HD, FTA only, create all channels bouquet, create sections bouquet, create HD bouquet and swap channels is set to yes.

Any ideas?

Thanks

It is there for me. Are you hiding any sections?

Code:
< 956.987> [ABM-config] level: expert
< 956.987> [ABM-config] providers: sat_282_sky_uk:hd_scottish_west:45:
< 956.987> [ABM-config] keepbouquets: All

< 956.988> [ABM-config] show in extensions menu: True
< 956.988> [ABM-config] placement: top

International
Adult
BBC Red Button
Sky info
Sky sports interactive
Sky anytime
BT Sports interactive

Ok so setting to Scottish West SD has fixed it and the HD channels are still in the right place.

Thanks for that!

If there is a problem in ABM, we need to understand it so we can fix it. @sy278 can you please rephrase the problem as using your initial report, there was no problem for me.

Are you using any custom mix files?

Channel swap only works if both channels exist and target is in HD.

This is the same whether you use SD or HD numbering system. Custom mode is irrelevant to this.

The problem was exactly as I wrote. The only change I made to fix it was to change the region from Scottish West HD to Scottish West SD as per dsayers.

If you want the config file as per your original post just tell me where it is and I'll post it for you.

It might be that yours is wrong too as your screenshot shows Dave under secondary too, which is where it was on mine but it was missing from the all channels bouquet.

I think it may have just been position, sorry for bringing swaps or custom regions into this.

I can't test but shouldn't SD region place Dave SD to 111? HD region 811? Apart from FTA only won't show Dave HD. Maybe the OP didn't check that far down the all channels list.

My setup resulted in following:
SD channels were swapped for HD ones. (you call this HD primary)
Dave was in the secondary bouquet
Dave was in the secondary section of all channels bouquet too

What did I set up differently. As before, if there is an issue, we need to understand it in order to fix it.

The swap in place for Dave is as below.
<channel number="111" with="811"/> <!-- Dave HD -->

Indeed I didn't go as far down the all channels as 811 I expected it to show in normal location at 111.

Does Dave have an HD version? If not why is it swapping with 811? I didn't check that far down in all channels as I have previously only ever seen it at 111.

SD or "SD + hacks" aka "SD custom", will put Dave SD on 111. Enabling swap will swap this with 811.

"FTA only" will show HD channels. Obviously only those that are FTA.

We do have HD custom too.
