Is it possible to put apk files like apps via usb onto the latest sony tv thanks in advance

Depends on whether it is an Android TV or not, you haven't said what model,is it a smart TV, etc. look up what the operating system of your TV is.

Don't no model of tv am asking for my dad all I no is its the newest Sony tv it has playstore
What the idea is we want to install stb emu Pro apk that I have on my phone.
Take this apk off phone put onto usb
Then put onto tv via this method
Would this work

See what apps it has via playstore.

If it is google playstore, the chances are it is Android, use the sideloading tutorial left in post 3 if you can't find STB emu in the playstore
