Splitter from cable box

Hello everyone I was wondering if I can join that white wire with the black one so I can cable tv up and down stairs. If I can what would you recommend?

the wire comes from the ground though will it still be ok?

are they the same size as internal cable if so i might go to my local and and get one

Yep cables will be the same as the guys say just get a decent splitter and connect black cable from the ground as input and black and white cable to out terminals .....
