I'm thinking of getting a box that excepts cable subs, but I'm a complete novice. Is there anywhere I can watch a video (dummies) guide etc to make it as easy as possible to get started. I used to have Sky sub on openbox v8s. I've been told can't have cable on these boxes.

Do you virgin broadband into the property? If so it's fairly straightforward.

You would need to split the cable wiring going into your router using an appropriate splitter, buy a cable box, set it up, request a gift.
