hi am new to this site was thinking of gettin a box but which is better starview or kryptviev?

Check this thread shabstan. There are many other threads in the Starview here and Kryptview here and cable reciever here forums that will help make up your mind. Spend a bit of time searching them as they will help make your mind up bud.

Starview is only a 12 month box, after 12 months you need to buy a new box,

entirely up to you what box you buy, there is lots of info on Techkings about all the different boxes, have a read through it :)

as anto1969 says their is alot of info ,but as you have asked the ? i read that alot of people having probs with other boxs but the best so far is the krptview a780c,this box will only work on cable.this info is for knowledge only.

Help with Starview HD Combo

Starview HD How do I set up Card Sharing
Hi I am also knew to this Have a Starview HD Combo which worked on cable until it wend down last week (Still get FTA Channels) I would now like to switch to Satellite with CCAM My questions are:
1. Can I choose any card sharing server I see some on line for about £15 PM
2. Will it work with my Starview HD Combo or do I need a dreambox
3. Do I need any additional software to enable all channels (I can get all the FTA from Astra at Present?)
4. Do the card sharing servers provide instructions on how to set it up
5 It it best to pay monthly or go for 6 or 12 month subscription
