Streaming from Computer/Laptop to Blade media

I just rushed this together for you see how you get on.
Download this first http://www.blademedia.tv/files/bm7000s/BLADE Stream.zip
Extract to PC then open it and browse to the folder you want to share from your PC.
Click on start and enter CMD where it says search.
When loaded type ipconfig then hit enter.
Take a note of the ipv4 row and enter that into your blade where it asks for your ip address.
I have blanked mine out for obvious reasons.
To enter it into your blade press.
Play button.
The blue for add/connect.
Enter your ip and click on enter.
Now anything that is in the folder you chosen to share should load on your screen.

Thanks very much for taking the time to do that. Really appreciate it.
Done everything you said, files come up and show on my Blade, when I press enter to play a selected file, it comes up as if its buffering and ready to play, then goes back to the folder again, same on all files, strange, but 10 steps further than where I was an hour ago dude.
Any ideas?

You think possibly updating to Octobers firmware might sort it by any chance?
Im just waiting on my post count to clear before I can download anything.

to add to this you will notice that the streaming software can only share 1 folder, this is a problem if your files are spread across several partitions/drives to overcome this limit you need to use "junctions"
make a folder in C: called BladeShare (or anywhere you like)
^ this will be the folder you point the blade stream location to
then open a cmd prompt and navigate to the folder you created, or create a batch file -whatever will be easier for you.
follow the below mklink instructions... mklink /j {sharefolder} {location}
example of my defaults...
mklink /j C:\BladeShare\Public c:\users\Public\Videos
mklink /j C:\BladeShare\Videos D:\Videos
mklink /j "C:\BladeShare\TV Shows" "E:\TV Shows"
NOTE use " when folders have spaces - if you need help just reply! this is how i share many folders spread over multiple locations and it works perfect....
