Streaming to ipad or android box

Can anyone point me to a tutorial on how to do this. Or lay it out step by step please. I have Vu plus downloaded but it's not finding the set top box. I am currently trying to do it on the iPhone. I don't mind having to do it on the iphone/iPad or through android box, kodi/Xbmc

Ok so I figured out how to get it working on iPad. In the App Store there are 2 apps. One is called vuplus hd. That's the one that doesn't work. Is there anyway to AirPlay it back to a tv. I have an Apple TV but all I'm getting is audio. And if I mirror it, it's not full screen. I'd still like to know how to do it using kodi.
