Struggling with channel names

Morning TK,
Just a quick one, I've probably missed something but driving me up the wall.
I'm on VM and updated to openvix 5.1 on Technomate nano se m2 plus to sort out the audio issues which it did fine. Everything running smooth which it has done for the last 2.5 years the problem i have is half the channels are named and the other half say n/a but when I use the channel and then go back to channel list the name of the channel is then listed.
I have been trying a few things for the last couple of weeks, scripts, rescanning etc but no joy.
Usually like to sort things myself as its the only way to learn but this has me bolloxed, any help much appreciated

try deleting the bouquets and then rescanning, I think when it happened on my box, I deleted the bouquets in ABM, I then ran a manual scan and then an ABM scan and that fixed it.

Update -
Thanks grog, I did as you advised and all channel name's appeared in main list.
The only thing I was still having problems with was my personal favourites list ( sports, movies etc ) they were still showing n/a on some channels so I deleted the list, made a new one and everything seems to be OK for the last couple of days.
