Is there anyway of using the super hub 1 which is disconected from virgin media to act as a wifi extender/repeater?
I currently have a super hub 2 connected and activated from vm, but in some spots of the house i cant access wifi or its a poor signal so o was tjinking if it is possible to create a wifi extender from the super hub 1? Any help would be appreciated, and thanks.

some people turn the wifi off on superhub and add a wifi router for extra ports and better wifi that does not kick you off.

if it can be flashed with dd wrt

That sounds good, i found that the superhub 1 is a Netgear VMDG480. Is there a guide on how to flash it? Where do i start?

Thanks

Pretty sure you can't use DD-WRT on that router/modem

It's only wireless G anyway isn't it? Get something that's 'N' and DD-WRT compatible of ebay for a couple of quid instead

That super hub 1 i really couldnt be bothered with i tried and could not get it to wor so i just got the TP-Link TL-WR710N Wireless Nano Router/Range Extender/Repeater
