The body of a man in his late 20s, who drowned in a lake in Co Mayo, has been recovered by members of the local emergency services.

He had gone swimming in the small mountain lake near Bangor Erris yesterday afternoon.
The alarm was raised by a woman who was with him at the time.
Gardaí and emergency services personnel launched an immediate search.
This morning, after the lake was partially drained, they discovered the body.
The man has been taken to Mayo General Hospital in Castlebar where a post-mortem examination will be carried out.
