Talk talk iptv issues

Hi

My dad has just changed from bt to talk talk and is having issues with his iptv not working.

My supplier is trusted and has said that he’s still activated

He’s using a mag box with Ethernet connected

Has anyone had any issues with talk talk before?

If you have tried the above, reset your dns settings on your mag
8888.
Then restart your box and router.

Although I run my iptv through a firestick I have been with TalkTalk for a few years and never had problems with them,could it be that because he had his provider originally whilst with BT that by transferring across as caused the problem with the provider using his old BT info stored in to his system and not Talktalk's.. just a thought as I have iptv on a android tablet also and was unable to get it to work while on a short break on the Isle of Wight even using a VPN no luck get home and bingo it is back working again, email provider and the reply was as it is a standard line it is locked into the ISP ie Talktalk but a VPN or they could fix it there end should solve problem informed I tried VPN and now awaiting more info from them

You could take his mag to your home
And set it up..

Have left him for the night but will look into it more in the next couple of days

Really can’t get my head around it
