Talk Talk's UFO - 1Gbps

I have TT business and not heard of this,
hopefully will get it in my area soon enough,
as much as mine is OK I'm forever having to ring them up as my speeds keep dropping, and I only get 17 to start with on fibre as I'm so far away from the cab, about a mile I reckon, :(
 
it's one of the numerous experiments/ trials by isps' using FTTP, the cost stops them from rolling it out everywhere. The next phase is g.fast aka ultrafast rolled out by BT/ openreach. You may have noticed pods being attached the the BT cabs, should go live later this year or 2018 giving speeds of 330 down and 50 up. They willl be rolling out Fibre on demand which will give speeds as described in the original post, noticed on the advert they have not mentioned the upload speed...
 
This was one of the first micro trenching uk trials. Now adopted by virgin media. Probably why bt are going down the gfast route as it means very little upheaval. Once someones micro trenched an area do you side by side anothet? Lol.
