to be honest both them boxes are rubbish

the blade 7000 goes down to the image on the box and the image (maybe out dated ) was spark if i recall was reported to give glitching
i have never delt with a tm of that model so cant comment

do you have a mate with another make of box to test?

If your internet connection has high latency (a lot of people have found this with virgin), you will get glitching. Try a ping test ( ping www.bbc.co.uk) and note the time in milliseconds, if it is high (above 100ms or so) then that would explain your problem.

who the hell gets above 100? thats bad mate i get 8ms on vm and never seen above 45ms in 5 years of phone and cable installs

I've seen people complain of ping times of over 300ms on another forum. 8ms is excellent, but where interleaving has to be used (long lines etc.) 45ms would be considered pretty much a decent result.

This is from my experience, freezing and glitching are caused by bad server or could be your LNB shorting or a very old worn wire going to the box, if you experience scramble or $ channels not working usually your broadband losing connection or bad Ethernet cable.
