Cable Terrestrial tv skipping etc

Problem is theres an h2h with a vermin line on it running biohead img..all the "paid" channels are great but for some unknown reason every so often just the regular freeview channels just will skip like heck. A restart of the box and router stops this but it will still come back every so often.. as the premium channels are grand and the fact a restart sorts it i doubt its the supplier but more the box or vermin themselves.. just wondering if anyone else has this issue or knows a way round it.. cheers

UK Channels 1-5 standard definition are available to view without a line, if they freeze then it's a issue with your set up.
Ireland cable users, all channels are encrypted so any freezing will more than likely be a server issue.(but check your setup as well)

I would recommend Regular Rebooting or your router, once a week.
