time shift problem with H2H

ok so got everything running great H2H apart from the hd have it set like this 1st Initialisation 2nd Convert ext3 filesystem to ext4 but when i try to set it up in timeshift setting to 30 seconds an press save i get the message The directory /media/hdd/timeshift/ is not a EXT2,EXT3,EXT4,NFS or CIFS partition. make sure you select a valid partition type.
Its starting to p**S me off now because i think i have done everything right but i must be missing something simple so all help greatfully received

Are you using an SD card or a USB drive? A couple of people are having issues with the SD card reader at the minute.

its a 64gb usb drive

Wouldn't the correct path be /media/usb/timeshift if using a USB Drive?

if anyone is still wondering how to do this

menu - setup - recordings & timeshift - timeshift settings. timeshift location should show media/hdd/timeshift
press ok to get to the select location page then
ok (to select parent directory)
up, ok (to select parent directory again)
down, ok (to select sda1)
down to HIGHLIGHT lost+found (DO NOT PRESS OK)
green to select ok
green to save

live tv functions should now work :)
