Timeshift concern...

I noticed a large amount of data being saved in the timeshift folder on my storage device... this is a picture I took at 21:38 showing 2 large 3.7gb files which are still counting up and currently at 4.9gb each at time of posting this message so as you can see, it's building up rather quick.

These are my timeshift settings...

Any ideas?

Double check auto record is no. Exit timeshift by pressing stop

Auto record isn't on my friend as per the pic above and pressing stop just gives me that warning circle icon again as if to say it can't do anything because timeshift isn't currently in use.
