Timeshifting like wmc

I had a Windows 7 pc which I used to watch Irish digital TV and was alway impressed with the fast fwd. I would see the start of the program and press stop a few seconds later but it was clever enough to figure this out and start at the beginning. Is there anything that does the same on the engina 2 engine

I know that this is a long shot but if u don't ask u don't get.

I've not seen this feature on Vix and haven't used any of the others

Dam was really a killer feature. Would obviously be a time delay depending on the ff u where using
