.TS fies - Encrytped?

My Amiko Combo HD SE records to a .ts file - Ive noticed FTA channels I can play back on my PC with VLC but $ channels don't so assume encrypted. Anyway of viewing them?

hd recordings are encrypted. what you could do is convert the .ts encrypted file to mpeg 2 with hd resolution, will inbox you a torrent link to a program that will do it. please post back and click thanks if you got it to work. good luck

Cheers for the link, but it wont open any of the .ts files I have.

I can play back FTA HD in Windows Media Player but if I record a $ HD channel nothing plays.

someone mentioned handbrake to me for files not got that far yet lol
