Looked at the green line from my house seems that the buildings and trees and below the green line not above it.

Is that right the way I am looking at it?

When its working for a while its:

    89
    90

Be a bit out but is roughly that for sat.

Hard not to me mate, been going on for weeks and still nothing lol.

I think your right mate as with the thunderstorms and heavy rain since yesterday and this morning was heavily freezing and glitching channels I went on and then just said tune failed.

you're getting a decent signal there, you could try the 2nd cable on your box, in the bad weather , does the screen pixelate in green/pink colours & you might hear a squelch or sharp squeak noise?

then the fault lies somewhere in the cable either at connections or in itself, water can remain for a little while but if cable is as said cracked , kinked , or even the core itself damaged, you'll have signal issues, What to do: you could try the second cable, if all is good then either , if you don't mind ladders, check the cable for flaws yourself , at the lnb replace the waterproof tape the installer put there originally. The other option get someone to change the cable completely, is the cable secured to walls of house & not hanging loose ,that it can move around?

either ingress or a cable flaw itself, happened on one of my boxes last year, changed the cabling on all 3, my bad knee never got over it

What I am concerned about is spending on whole new sat feeds to replace and find still same issue, cant afford to spend unless absolutely neccesary.

Checked cable but cant see cuts, cracks etc. Maybe inside part of cable is damaged.

I have swapped the sat cables and put in the other sat tuners and after a bit same issue happens.

Yes cable is secured on walls with clips so cant be moved at all.

The signal from the sat comes in at approx 45 degrees to your dish.
The angle is steeper than what most people expect
so that should give you some idea if the trees are a problem

Ye looking at the diagram mate and dish now and the angle you have described I am sure then there is a clear line of sight as the angle being steeper would mean it will mean the trees would not be in the way.

if you just get one of these 10m cables, screw one onto the lnb, run the cable down the wall and into the room where the box is, screw the other end into the box, then run a scan on that tuner, if it works, get another cable and do the same for the other

this is assuming the dish is no more than 10m from the box

This is the thing m8, the idea of a forum, many heads share ideas on a problem & eventually thru either consensus of opinion , or elimination of all possibilities you find an answer. The disadvantage being none of us have the 1st hand info experience of the issue, we're not there looking at it.
You have to decide on the best course of action, considering all the options you've been given,Pablo's suggestion of premade 10m cable, may be an option that won't be too expensive

I understand mate and I have tried various options thus far.

But the idea of DIY with cables taking out and putting new ones in is what concerns me. I dont think I could do it without making things worse or moving the dish by accident.

you may not have to worry ,check your lnb it's very likely it's a quad, that is it has 4 ports, just connect the new cable to an unused port & then to box, you'll not move the dish doing this

Yes think it is a quad and think there are two free ports.

Will try it if I can and may have to get the pre made cable. But does quality cable matter or cheap cable good enough? Would I need clips as dont wont cable to be dangling in front of the house?

it's only testing that the cable is the issue, given that no one knows how long sly will still be available, you could use cheaper cable, just follow the run on the original cables, you should be able to get the clips along with the cable

Only need sly for free sat mate dont really care if remaining channels go. Alot FTA channels arent on cable and for my family. They keep stressing me out but worst they could do is ask me to fix this as aint technical in anything no matter what I read or watch to help never sinks in my brain.

Anyway thanks all of you. Sorry for being so stupid and sorry if not easy to help.

Will try my best to do this but not optimistic.

Isnt the one posted in this thread good quality?

I think you may possibly would need someone who is a member of the forum who lives nearby and sometime in the future had an hour or two to spare and could try and help you out, but i hope you get something sorted out mate.
