Cable Tuner B dead?

I have my H7 for just over a year.
Last night the cable channels on tuner B stopped clearing.
It was showing strange errors, trying to send to send weird "(FFFE@FFFFFE" ID's via oscam.
Upgraded image to get new autoBQmaker and it was return "unable to read data"
Manual scan on tuner B/DVB-C returned either 0 or 14 0x0ec type channels, which is usually an error code.
ALso contacted my provider and he said box isnt even hitting his server.

Eventually tried a manual scan on tuner C. All channels found and all is back up and running.

My conclusion is tuner B is gone ... ? I am not sure how to troubleshoot potential hardware issues.

Yesterday I was moving cables about due to get a new console. Wonder if could have disturbed one and shorted out the cable which fried tuner b ??? Seems far fetched but I don't have anything else to go on.
The 12 month warranty ran out 1 month ago pah

Also, Tuner A is working fine.

Any ideas? Driver issue??

Are you able to do a manual scan on Tuner B? Menu -> Setup -> Service Searching -> Manual Scan
 
Assuming that B & C are both cable.
Disable Tuner B and scan for cable channels on C.
If all good disable Tuner C and enable Tuner B.
Plug the cable from Tuner C into Tuner B and scan for cable channels.
If that fails it would seem to point towards Tuner B being faulty.
 
i did a scan with b = no result
did a scan with c = expected channels
hooked up b again to see if it used channels and it didnt I disabled the alternate tuner on each test
i get 91% on the faulty tuner its weird
AutoBQ fails to read data on B but C is fine

cheapy box Im thinkinh
 
did you swap the cables as @Willo3092 said, take the lead out of tuner C and plug it into tuner B and then scan tuner B as it could be cable going into tuner B
 
yep fresh install all i did was configure tuner b manual scanned on Complete option with 0 results. Did same setup on C and it worked fine

Since identifying it was an issue with B only, Ive restored my settings onto latest image

ill recheck the signals but im sure B was 91%

i did also change cables to match active tuner

I get the same signal on B and C (A is sat)

The output of B when trying to clear is below. Once I switch back to C it clears and shows full channel name in log

I assume when you do that on tuner C the Program Number differs to those shown for Tuner B above?

Yep totally different. You can see it below in bold after I changed to C
