Updating config files

Hi try to update my config files for sky and virgin but get the error message incomplete versions 2.9》3.1 how do I update it to 3.1...

uninstall ABM from plugin menu then reinstall 3.1 from plug in menu

Same thing happened to me. I did a software update. Be careful though cus apparently if you've not done a software update before it can crash.
