Using ASUS AC68U Router with Virgin V6 box

Unable to connect to service for epg update and it seems like ports 80, 8080, 7287, 7288 and 8081 are not open for this to work.
So what information is required for the service field etc for each port?
 
No. You don’t need to open any ports and for security reasons you shouldn’t.
I have the same setup with an ASUS router and my V6 doesn’t have any connection issues.
In the V6 settings is it showing it’s connected with an IP address.

Well it was! But I decided wrongly maybe to do a clear reset. Now it just stuck in trying to connect. Will have to call vm and see what they say. Tried on wireless with EE but no joy.
