virgin tv channels not clearing (do they need to activate?)

just moved house, set up the broadband which works fine but using a splitter for the tv but channels dont seem to be clearing even the fta ... do virgin have to activate anything on their end. i do have their official tivo box in the garage - am i meant to ring them up? i assumed the feed was active with virgin as the broadband is working

The line will be active if your bb line is working,
Possibly the splitter,
have you moved far? your region might need changing,
whats your signal strength?

moved 5 doors down/
not sure if its right signal but im getting

Scan using ABM, no point in using a full scan, as everyone uses ABM
