My mate has been having some issues with his ZGemma H2H and constantly needing to restart cams. I asked him to send me the details of the image on the box to see if i could help troubleshoot in some way. But i'm stuck with the image, I'm pretty sure its not right for the box in any case.

In the "About" section it shows

Image is Virtuosso Image Xtreme
Version = 5.2
Build = 0
Image type = Release

Does anyone have any advice on both issues:-

  1. Why the need to restart cams so often?
  2. Is this image fit for his purpose? Should it be changed or updated? If so, any ideas where to update from?

It's an outdated image and ViX isn't supported on Zgemma's anyway.
A newer image is needed and he will be better off using an ATV image.
 
Personally i use dsayers and i'm used to dealing with it all myself. I was just a bit thrown when i seen the details of the image on his - he bought his pre-configured. Thanks for the advice, much appreciated! I'll see about getting hold of his box and reflashing for him!
