VLC for firestick

Tried to load VLC to f/stick
Keeps coming up not available, done search and load but no joy
I have managed to from amz account to stick, but are you only allowed certain amount of download

Yes got it working
But had to transfer it from account of other device via amz
Was unable to search and add to new stick
