vm not working

I have some channels but not all, no BT sport HD for example .
All works perfect on Vm hub 3 on mine but take to mates house, missing channels , changed name server settings, network test all green , any other ideas, using latest Ipab build.

Does your mate have a vm package or hoping his live cable will still work but with a lower signal?

I think he still has basic vm package, do you think it may be signal strength issue?

Its more likely to be ipab, its been discontinued and is no longer supported, flash with openatv6.2 then add a supported platform like infinity or freerange

Some channels not all could suggest movement of some,make a note of what the netid and qam in use is it 256 and try a rescan to see if the missing return? Is that the image which has no support now?

try renaming the box to xbox or playstation or anything else apart from zgemma.

just a quick update. after all the replies and suggestions i can confirm 1 fully working ZGH2H on my mates vm line at last. seems as tho the nameserver change to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 together with changing the ZG network name has finally done the trick woo hoo.many thanks to all who replied .all the best ..cheers !!
