Hey there I'm very new to all this, I have the zgemma star h2 (vix) my box is stuck in the boot screen, I need the flash my box where do I get a he flash file from?, and is flashing it put the skin and that on to the box?

If you look at the top of the forum you will see downloads, have a look in there and yes you can flash a pre made build there are a few to choose from with an attached skin also.

You need to install it.
Software management, install local extension
Then usage and gui, skin setup

You then need to install via local extensions then switch to it. Every skin thread on here in post 1 explains for VIX or ATV

Hmmm, I know ATV 6.0 has problems with some skins.
I thought vix was all good with skins.
Have you had a look at the download section of your receiver, I'm sure there's a VM lookalike skin in there.

Sorry pal, if your using a zgemma with vix, then you won't have any access to the plugins feed. (Unless anyone has found a way round it)

Try ipk download again in case corrupted. Put in root/tmp. Then setup/vix/ILE/install
