void warrenty on sv7 due to illegal firmware installed

hi guys have any of you had to return your box to the supplier cos its faulty,and the supplier found illegal firmware on your sv so they attempt to void your warrenty?????how did you get round it etc????would appreciate some advice on this subject thanks mac

ive returned a flashed vbox too w777ard sat with no problem, the box was unable too recieve FTA channels

You cant get round it. As soon as you put custom firmware on it you forfeit any warranty and right to return it.

Thats the risk you take.

You should test the box with fta channels before putting firmware on so you know its working.

hi mac i had to return 1 and i made sure the box didn`t come on at all so they could`nt check it and they just replaced the box

i returned my 1st sv7 to the supplier(my cablebox) and even tho i put carling filmware on they replaced the box becoz it was faulty/ depends who you buy from/ what the fault is. yes, some do say once you put the software on the warrenty becomes void lol:)
