VPN on router, can't do software update ATV

Just thought I'd share this, sorry if it's been posted before.
Noticed today that since installing a vpn on my router it's impossible to do a software update or download list of plugins on atv(6.3)(Zgemma H2s). Had to deactivate the vpn in order to update. Has anyone else had this problem with atv not liking vpn's or is it just specific vpn's it doesn't like?

Yes. This has happened to me with PIA. Also if your router is a all singing and dancing with security software installed I had to turn it off to get all plugins to show..

My VU+ on vix has no problem, so must be just atv being hyper sensitive lol.
