VPN With BT Home Hub

Hi guys,

I have a home hub 6 and I understand that i cannot use a VPN on it. Is there a way of buying another router to connect to the hub via ethernet cable which would be able to have a VPN on it? If so what is a decent budget option?

Please excuse the newbie question, this is not my area of expertise.

I need the VPN so i can watch plex which is on my smart tv without being throttled on matchdays

If your smart tv is run by andriod (has the playstore) You can download a vpn app, If not look on e bay there are some plug and play vpn routers already set up, There about £25 to £40
