vpn with utorrent

Not to sure if this is the right section, but couldn't find any relevant info anywhere. I have recently Paid for a months trial of ipvanish, it works fine except when i am trying to download anything using utorrent, the speed of the download is virtually nil any ideas? TIA

Try a different server.

most vpn providers offer recommended for torrent servers because some countries they block torrent use.

The other thing may be you need to port forward

I use these https://airvpn.org/?referred_by=201634 a have done for years they are cheaper then the one you are using a if you use say the netherlands servers you will always connect to torrents. (these support port forwarding on the website)
