Vu+ duo partly loat guide

Hi i have a vu+ duo my guide always s blank so i can never tell whats on if i click on the channel it comes back but i dont wana have to click on 1000+ channels to get em to show whats on. Iv done the auto boquets scan checked for updates and tried cross epg downloader but that will crash my box any suggestions ? Maybe i need a new image im new to this so pleAse go easy on me lol

Have you got a hard drive fitted ;for you epg to download to ?

Yes got a hard drive fitted it used to work all the time but since i took it to the shop for an update its been a bit temperamental

What image Do you have on it at the moment , Is your box Genuine ?

Genuine box as far as i no not sure i think openvix is ther a way of telling ?

The reason i say this is you said you updated the software and it crashed Which is a sign it maybe a cloned version

Its a genuine box and i no it has openvix not sure what sort though is ther a way of finding out ?

The guy who i got it off has told me it is genuine and it cost me £250 ?

If you have Configured and done your local settings and saved them In ABM then Scan Then Restart should put them into Groups

better off setting up usb in rear to take the epg.
to check what version image on box menu-info-about-?

I do have the usb in the rear it just randomly isnt working sometimes it does sometimes it dowsnt its weird

Is it set to update Daily You could try a reflash But remember to have a back up of you line details first
