I have a symbol flashing on the screen of the vu it's like a circle surrounded by to brackets at the top of the screen in the centre.what is it and how do I stop it please guys??

is it the vix spinning symbol in top left of screen?if so is your box under stress?

is it a green flashing light ? meaning of new updates available.

It's not on the picture display it's on the display that shows time , program and a bar with a +time. It's on the top line left of the clock and if I record the record symbol flashes next to it

If I press the teletext button on the remote , teletext bar shows on tv and sympol disappears on the lcd screen but teletext bar shows at top and bottom of screen if I press it again symbol comes back again and teletext disappears
