VU+ solo2 Beginers info

Hi all, I am completely new to all of this. After a bit of research on what box to buy and where from i have just ordered the VU+ solo2 box from WOS with openvix (latest) and 500gb HDD.
This is due to arrive next week and i am after some info on what else i need to do to get up and running with uk tv channels. Any help much appreciated thanks.
 
I have found a guide on here on what i need to do but it says "do not use this guide as the .ipk file is no longer needed, and also there is a bootloader with the new firmware.
can anyone point me in the right direction please?
Just to confirm that i have set up the box and currently have the FTA channels working, Just need to know the next steps i need before i can get a server. Thanks
