What am I doing wrong???

As Bees has said in an earlier post it could be your skin that is causing the missing info in the menu.
Can you change back to the default skin just for now.
menu/setup/system/user interface/skin setup - choose vix night HD.

Then go back to service searching.
 
Line is irrelevant for a scan.

Can't see skin making much difference either but I've never used Vix 5.

ok guys his tivo is on a new frequency not listed in netids??

you put in the frequency and provider in for a manual scan and signal finder should see a signal

I had the same issue as you with no chnnels or just 12. Reflash the box
in tuner config
net id 00000
do not set the sbm leave on 00

in abm just set the area id by scrolling through and scan the id and it will work
 
Sorry for late update lads but if I tell you the full weekend story you will be to busy pissing yourself, my router stopped working and I've had to wait 3 days for a replacement to be sent.
Any I have now flashed with wooshbuild which is brilliant install sat line ( running ) downloaded by turbo drivers so what do I do now to install cable line?
The vu turbo is showing in tuners do I scan again and add cable line?
By the way thanks for all your reply over the weekend
 
Regarding the virgin media region in tuner setup what is correct setting, pure, telewest , ex cw or brute force. I am in a old telewest area would I choose that?
