Yes you can setup without gifts. It does look complicated at first but once you start setting up it will fall into place.

Avoid ebay and request in those threads. The one you mentioned is way to cheap to provide both sat and cable the chances are it will go down within a few months

Basically stay off fleabay for lines, you will get ripped of 95% of the time.

C and N lines are just different methods for lines
