What channels from sly without sub

Hi all, I will hopefully be setting up my first ever box of this kind shortly ( got zgemma h2h ). I have active vermin line for broadband so will obviously be using vermin sub. Currently I use sly for tv but will be cancelling soon hopefully so will still have a dish feed handy. Just would like to know if its worth connecting the dish without using a sly sub? Maybe so I can watch FTA whilst recording off vermin ? I'm new to this setup so would like to understand.

Speak with your Line provider.
I did a deal for my friends box, on a Virmin & Sky multi-room line.
So he has his Virmin feed for Sport/Movie HD and Sky for Atlantic/BTSport etc.
Best of both worlds.
That was on a Mutant 2400HD not on a ZGemma H.2H.
But with the right tuners should be same principal.
 
Syphon if you get the right box , as in sat and cable tuners you can hook sat dish tuner up for fta channels and cable tuner for vermin sub and have best of both worlds
 
Thanks paulie, this is what I was thinking. For now until I cancel sly I am going to use bioheads image and tutorial and hope I understand it. Then after my dish is freed up I may change to dsayers image.
 
Yep both are good images , I'm using kiddacs slyk 1 skin and works great ,
