What folder does a .ipk file go in?

ok i have downloaded an updated .ipk file om my pc for my cloud ibox 2 plus, im using filezilla and was wondering what folder would i upload it to?

Goes into tmp folder, and then load using install local extensions from menu

Thats what i thought mate but it doesnt show up in local extensions also rebooted the box but still nothing

what file?maybe its not needed tell us more info,sometimes files are in download plugins?

dreamplex_2.1.0-beta48_all.ipk , the one thats in extensions is an old version and it wont work

trouble is on clone boxes usually use old stuff and no idea what image your one may need or can use,you may have to wait for others to answer that one,also post what image your on also helps .

you load by pressing blue button, go to plugins option, then load local file, select tmp and it shoulod be there, even if it isnt compatible if its an ipk it should show and then if it isnt compatible you will get an install error

I found it and it installed fine, just cant get it connected to plex on my pc

Yes you need to do this using Vix or openATV image.
