Cable Which connection

I will be doing a h2h install next week sometime, and in prepartion ive got the splitter so that the incoming feed can be split between router and the zgemma. The 3rd output will be terminated as another box maybe added in the future.

My question though is, which 2 ports will i need to use to give signal to the router and zgemma? As on the splitter, there are 2 ports labelled 6.1dB and the 3rd is labelled 6.5dB

Any output is fine better to use the 6.5 for modem and the outher for tv box

Make sure you cap the third outlet untill you need to use it, there are caps available with a resistor built in. This stops noise entering the system, noise can be why VM come knocking on your door to "check over your system" ;-)

It dont matter if u use the 6.5 its just a stronger signal

It's actually a loss on the signal the 6.5db

Well u should put the box stright from the wall and scan then go back to the splitter then see on the splitter mate

6.1 to the modem
6.5 to the zgemma.
Terminate the other 6.5 with a terminator cap.
