try a mag 254 ive got a mag250 but the processor is better on the mag 254 simple menus good luck

Am looking to buy the Mag254/255 box and wanted to know is it a fast box its not slow and laggy ? also how do I get an subscription ?
Please bare in mind am completely new to this
