Which tuners to select

Hi guys I tried looking through the threads here but cant seem to find the answers.

I am a complete noob and have no clue if somebody could help I would be ever so grateful:

1) which tuners should I be requesting with the vu+ duo 2 on world of satellite? I was hoping to link to a sly dish and record and watch as many programmes as possible. They have single/ dual/ hybrid and twin hybrid

2) Is there anywhere I could get it cheaper as quite expensive on ***. I read in a thread that members here can availa discount? I cant seem to find the shop if anyone is able to help as well.

I am in similar situation. Could I also ask for some help in things to look out for, such as how to spot clones, should there already be a hard drive installed or not, which software should it come with etc etc.
I am going for vu solo 2.[h=2][/h]

Hope you got sorted.

DVB-C is for cable, DVB-S2 is for sat.

All the ones I've seen advertised do not come with a HDD but they offer to fit one or you could do it yourself.
