wooshbuild v7 anytime+

Hi all,

I've just upgraded to v7 and since I have, my TV will not power on with the box?

It all worked fine on V5 and V6 but not V7, I go into my TV menu and it says device (zgemma) not connected?

Anybody having the same issues?

Curious..... mine does the opposite, turning off the box turns off the TV ok, but turning on the zgemma does nothing, TV still in standby.

should say the HDMI from the zgemma runs through a Sony amp then on to the TV (Pioneer Kuro).

While there is indeed a "standard" that all manufactures should adhere to, CEC (Comsumer Electronics Control) unfortunately in the real world not all do. HDMI-CEC is a single wire bidirectional serial bus that uses a standard AV.link protocol to perform RC functions. CEC wiring is obligatory, although implementation of CEC in a product is optional.
So your amp may well be the cause of your predicament.
