XMBC & Media Streaming

Hi all,

I am looking for a device which will enable me to do the following:

• Watch local stored movies and tv series from my networked nas drive.
• Watch online sports and moves from an XMBC provider.

Is there such a box out there? Any info you can pass on would be great, I currently use a WDTV Live box for my network streaming but am hoping to combine both what i want in the one box.

Not sure if you are still looking for an answer to this post.

I have the exact setup you are looking for using a raspberry pi running XBMC. It is networked to my WD Mycloud which has all my movies, photos and home videos.

I have it set up using the Amber skin as this is easy on CPU usage. I also use the NBC Sports add on to stream footbal (with vpn or DNS) and tv catchup, BBC Iplayer etc.

Definitely worth looking at for £25 or there abouts.
