Apologies again for the basic question.
Been reading various posts around the forum (most of which I dont understand) trying to establish the differences between the boxes etc.
I currently have a V8S as a 2nd receiver (not a Sky replacement) which has its own feed etc and seems fine, however the EPG, recording etc isn't the greatest to navigate or get info on, so wondering if its worth shelling out a few more quids and getting a better box (as I said, its a 2nd box so I don't want to spend a fortune).
The one that seems to be mentioned a lot is the XSpeed LX2, however if I bought this what exactly am I getting more than I am getting now from the V8S... other than presumably being able to make navigation and the EPG a bit more user friendly? Also would my gift subscription be compatible? Is it significantly harder to set up?
Is there an idiots guide somewhere that explains this in layman's terms? (e.g. no idea what ViX, lines and cccam are etc!)
