XTREND 10,000 HOOKED TO HDMI1 OUTLET SONY LED TV KD-43X81J + YAMAHA SOUNDBAR - GET NO SIGNAL ON TURN ON
Using Openatv 7.3 image and recently when thye turn on the TV and soundbar with the TV remote and then turn on the XTREND with the box remote they get a no signal message on the screen. The sat box will show on its display the program its playing but I cant get access. Only cure is to do a hard reboot!!
Its not my TV and it has me foxed. I set it all up and to get to HDMI 1 I have a shortcut using TV button on the TV remote. I keep getting assurances that YES I did select TV button after seeing the onscreen message.
It did not dawn on me this morning to press the TV button myself!!!
What can be causing this? If in fact there is an actual error, person is elderly. I dont use CEC or anything like that. TV is hardwired to network and box has lan cable as well.
